I found a great dumbbell set out here at a store called "menards". No joke, it makes me laugh every time I hear the commercial. Who in their right mind would call their store My nards. Anyway, it was from 5 to 55 for 250 bucks. This machine looks pretty sweet. Is it pretty sturdy and solid? Does it come with weights? Do you have to pay extra to ship it to your house? Where will you put it? Can I come over and use it some time?
The set comes w/ an olympic bar and 300 pounds plus the unit. Kristi picked it up last night so no shipping needed. It looks very sturdy.
We are trying to wedge it into the garage, but we've actually talked about turning our living room into a gym. We hardly ever use it as a living room anyway. In the end it will likely end up in the garage even if I have to park on the street.
I've been going over the set up instruction this morning and it's likely not going to get set up before the weekend.
The 5 to 55 for $250 sounds like a very sweet deal. I'm still looking for dumbbells. Usually Costco has a good set for a good price around the New Year.
So come over any time, but don't make me look too weak.

I'm just looking to get back on schedule. 2.5 miles 21:30 I did it 30 seconds faster last Monday.
Good news is I found a weight set at Sam's Club. $400 for a cage with the weights so we're going to buy it and I'm going to start lifting.
