Saturday Run
Beautiful day. I ran 7 miles in 51:17, pace is 7:19, ahr 153, mhr 168. Ran on the Duck Creek trail and felt great the entire run. I could have run for a few more miles but am tring to stick to this plan that I have come up with and not push it too much. Next week long run is 8 miles though.

Sorry for being awol for a while. I have been running and doing all kinds of other stuff. But not working much. I'm sure the words worked its way to you both I got layed off from Disney. It's not at all a bad thing. The more I think about it the more excited I am for the change.
On Monday 5/1 I took off for my run and when I hit my turn around point I didn't turn around, but continued on for a bigger run that I've been considering for a while. It turned out to be a bit of 6 miles and I loved it. My 51:18 time gave me a 8:33 pace which wasn't disappointing considering it was the first time I'd done that distance in quite a while.
Now that I can graph my run's with pace and heart rate I'm interested to learn about setting training goals based more on heart rate zones. I have noticed that when I stop for lights (which I had to do once in my 6 mile run) my heart seems to really recover quickly. That's got to be a good thing.
Now that I've taken a little over a week off I'll be getting back into a regular routine and should post more regularly again.
