I got out and ran 4 miles on Friday during the day. Average was 8:26, not totally sure what the mile times were though since it was down the street, through the park and back again (no GPS to tell me where the mile markers are). It felt like a good run since I pushed the last mile and did it in about 8:15 uphill and into the wind. The bummer is that I wasn't sore afterwards so I must not have pushed that hard after all. Looks like I need to learn my limits a little better and possibly push harder. We'll see. My goal for this week is two runs and a lot of running at basketball on Thursday night. I think that's a reasonable goal anyway. If I'm lucky I'll get in three runs this week, but we'll see.
Did another 4 w/ Brayden today. Pushing the jogger slows me down about 30 seconds/mile so my average of 8:48 is not bad considering. I'm just glad I was able to make time to do it.
Nice to see the blog back up and running smoothly Nice swim John. Funny naked story as well.
Mike you kill me. Those are great times. Good luck finding the time to get it all in.
My update is basically that I'm only getting in two runs a week right now. My long run and my speed workout. I haven't swam in weeks and I'm trying to add biking so this will be lots of fun.
