Saturday & Monday

You're probably busy so I'll kick this one off.

Saturday ran 3.5 miles @ 8:33 pace. Best part was the first two miles I was crusing @ about 8:40 and felt like I could have gone for a while. Rarely can I justify much more than 30 minutes and with Kristi in Utah and me watching the kids solo I really couldn't justify it so I ended at 3.5 miles in 29:55. But felt like I could definately have gone another mile at that pace.

While the kids slept Saturday afternoon I got about 1/4 of the weight rack set up. Great news is it will fit and still let me pull the car in the garage.

Monday I did my first 2.5 mile under 21 minutes at 20:56. That's a 8:22 pace for those keeping track. Took me two months to drop from 9:22 to 8:22. Right now I'm giving myself four months to drop the next minute.

I figured out how to add my progress graphs for your viewing pleasure. Just can't figure out how to get them next to each other. See below.

Sorry, I added my post before checking the blog, I wasn't trying to usurp or make any kind of statement. Impressive as always Jason. Those graphs are fantastic, I can see what you mean now, I am thinking that I would like to be all about the graphs as well. Very neat that you figured out a way to get your runs in a week before the day actually occurs, now that is being organized! Would you mind emailing me a copy of your excel file, I assume that is what you are recording on? I just don't want to spend the time to make my own from scratch at the moment. I have a body composition analysis tomorrow and it would be nice to use that as my first entry and a good solid baseline.

The spreadsheet is in the mail as they say. Which reminds me I'm pretty sure Kristi got the pocket pc in the mail on Friday so you should be seeing it very soon. She didn't send the software so you'll have to download it from Toshiba's site. If you have any problems finding it let me know and I'll find a link for you.

The email will give you info on how I set up the spreadsheet.

My graphs project out a week as kind of a goal for where I'm trying to get. It's the planner in me; always forecasting. Got to have my short term and long term goals.

We were up kind of late last night talking to mom and dad. In the process I got about 90% done setting up the weight rack, system, thing. I'm at the church tonight and tomorrow night so I'll finish up Thursday or Friday and hopefully be lifting on Saturday.

Bad news is that because I didn't get to bed until 12:00, when I tried to snooze the alarm this morning I shut it off and didn't have time to run because I was already really late to work.
